In through the Out Door

How do I share my tax season with you?

I save you lots and lots of money.

This is not the easiest time of year. I plop my bottom in a chair in late february and it pretty much stays there until April 15. Sound like torture?

It's not really. It's actually rather exciting. But it's not the stuff of sparkling cocktail party conversation. It's more of a "War and Peace" kind of exciting. A lot of hard work for a big fat reward at the end. Well, truth be told, I take part of my reward first.

Anyway, I just figured I'd take a quick break and tell you a little about my pre tax-season getaway. You may have noticed that my husband and I liked to ski together. We had such a great time we decided we needed to share it with you.

That's right... Double Black Diamond.
We're recovering quite nicely, thank you.

Gregory in his own piece of heaven.
Steamboat Springs is in northwest Colorado. It's really 6 mountains tied together by trails and lifts. The map is way too big to post on the website, but if you'd like to see it full sized just click here. They also have a a live mountain cam, so if you'd like to see a view from the mountain, or learn a little more about it, click here. It's vertical rise is 3,668 feet and it has almost 3000 acres of trails streching 65 miles. Think of it as Disneyworld for skiers. If you stay for a week the odds are you missed something.

OK, I have to get back to my desk.
I love sharing my tax season with you!
